“Because of the tender mercy of our God, by which the rising sun will come to us from heaven to shine on those living in darkness
and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the path of peace.” (Luke 1:78-79)

     We can respond to God by saying, “Yes Lord Jesus, I’m ready for you to lead, for you to change my life, let it be to me according to your word.” We can acknowledge our dependence on God and rejoice that he chooses to act in our best interests.  We can take on an attitude of prayerful worship as we respond to what God has done, and continues to do, in our life.

Prayer: Dear Lord, I praise you and worship you.  Help me to give you first priority in my life, so that I can live the way it was meant to be, according to your will.  In Jesus’ name, Amen.
