“Unless you repent, you too will all perish.” (Luke 13:3)

     Repentance stands out as the most important factor in determining how we stand with God.  When we are truly repentant, sorry for our sins and have invited Jesus into our life, we are bearing the fruits of repentance.  We have a changed attitude and have taken on a new way of life.  We are still sinners, but we allow God to work on our hearts and convict us of our sins so that we are no longer slaves to sin. 

     Our decision for Christ is not something we made because we were forced into it.  God allows free will, and our choice was not made just because we know our eternal destiny, but because we needed a void to be filled, giving us the love of Christ within, and a peace which the world does not know. 

Prayer: Dear Lord, every day I am thankful for this new way of life you give.  Increase my faith and my love for you and others, giving others the same hope you have instilled in me.  In Jesus’ name, Amen.
