“Give us each day our daily bread.” (Luke 11:3)

     We are encouraged to know that God is a good provider, and the one thing we think of as we mention our daily bread is food, but we are dependent on God for more than just the food we eat.  Everything we need—the things we think we’re responsible for or problems we expect to solve—all of it depends on God.  No problem, concern, anxiety, or need is too small for God.  If it matters to you, it matters to God.  Our Lord meets all of our needs.

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for providing all of my needs.  Forgive me for the times when I don’t think of you and try to do it all by myself, because I know that all I have comes from you.  In Jesus’ name, Amen.
