“So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.  For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.” (Luke 4:9-10)

     It is right that we should be in prayer concerning all of our needs, but this does not mean that we receive whatever we want.  Our task is to understand the difference, and being faithful in prayer is the key.  The world is full of trouble; Jesus made that clear to us, but we can be at peace with God and with one another, showing God’s love to a world which is very much in need.  Having the love of God is the one answer we should all be seeking.

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for the privilege of bringing everything to you in prayer.  Help me to have unconditional love for others in the same way you do for me.  In Jesus’ name, Amen.
