“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures; he leads me beside still waters; he restores my soul. He leads me in right paths for his name’s sake.” (Psalm 23:1-3)

     When we let the Lord lead us and make it a daily priority, it makes a significant difference in our lives.  We cast out earthy fears and give ourselves a chance to experience the calm and peace which only the Lord can give.

     In our busy lives, it is worth it to make the time, spending any amount of time we can to focus on prayer, and reading and meditating on God’s word.  It gets us “in tune” with God and the ways in which he directs us.  We can live in the world, but we don’t have to be of the world when we seek God’s guidance and apply it to our lives.

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for leading me in your ways.  Help me to always realize that you are my shepherd, leading me down the right path, giving honor and glory to you.  In Jesus’ name, Amen.
