“For He satisfies the longing soul, and fills the hungry soul with goodness.” (Psalm 107:9)

     For those who are longing for something that will give you peace and satisfaction, there is an answer.  When we give our hearts to the Lord, changes take place, no matter how subtle they may be.  We no longer have to be obsessed with gaining more and more possessions, because we realize that material things will not bring lasting satisfaction.  Our relationships become a higher priority, putting emphasis on love for God and love for each other.  When you think about it, is there really anything more important? 

     If you feel an emptiness in your life, Jesus is the answer.  Many of us can relate to this.  Give your heart to Jesus, the living God, who gave his life for us, rose on the third day, and has shown us the way to salvation and eternal life.  He will give rest for your soul.

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for showing us the way.  We pray for those who have been searching.  Help them to know that they may find the answer in you.  We also pray that this will serve as a reminder for those who believe, giving them all of the reassurance they need.  In Jesus’ name, Amen.
