“Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.” (Psalm 23:4)

    It is good to know that God is here with us, watching over us, protecting us, and giving us victory in the battles we face in this life.  In Romans 8:31, Paul says, “If God is for us, who can be against us?” How true! Who can be against us, except for the forces which are much inferior to the love and power of our Lord.

     Let’s put our confidence in God, who fights our battles for us.  We don’t have to be involved in a military battle in order to feel the stress in our lives. When we are tired and are ready to give up, we have someone who will back us up all the way.  Trust in God, and he will deliver you.

Prayer: Dear Lord, I am so thankful for your presence in my life.  You give me the much-needed boost to tackle all of my challenges.  Give me unshakable trust and confidence in you at all times.  In Jesus’ name, Amen.
