“Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us.” (Ephesians 3:20)

     This was Paul’s prayer to the church, knowing that God exceeds our expectations.  This is not a prayer that expresses too much optimism, wishful thinking, or unrealistic expectations.  This prayer establishes our confidence in God, expressing an unshakable faith in the power of God to continually change us and everyone and everything around us.  We don’t have to be timid in the prayers to our God who can move mountains and even more.

Prayer: Dear Lord, I ask that my confidence in you will increase, knowing how much you can do.  You have made great changes in my life and others, so I ask for that to continue with all of the people in my prayers.  In Jesus’ name, Amen.
